Job # 587698 Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for:   POSITION: Engineer, Manufacturing/Process LOCATION: Landisville PA 17538 (Lancaster Area) SALARY: $85-95K DEGREE:  Required EXPERIENCE: 3-5+ Years Manufacturing Engineering Experience with experience with a preference to experience with Metals but not required RELOCATION: Assistance Available.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as applicable. Evaluate feasibility of customer product inquiries related to metallurgical and raw material areas, with the goal of meeting the customer's requirements at the least total cost. Evaluate applicable specifications and other requirements related to customer inquiry or purchase order. Able to interpret technical specifications provided to suppliers for the purchasing of raw material (round steel bars and ingots) Support, prepare, release, and approve manufacturing instructions related to metallurgical and raw material areas. Oversee product testing results, including the material certification process. Ensure certification meets the customer's requirement as determined during contract review Lead investigations and corrective actions related to product and process problems, document findings and prepare reports to communicate both internally and externally. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to reduce total costs and to implement effective instructions for the shop floor. Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing and the Quality Manager to interact with customers and suppliers on quality and metallurgical issues Adhere to company-wide housekeeping standards in personal area and within department. Experience with destructive and non-destructive testing preferred. Held Accountable for: Providing timely and accurate support to ensure successful manufacturing of customer order per requirements. Providing timely support to Sales and customers related to new product inquiries and customer complaints related to metallurgical areas Lowering costs of poor quality over time, including heat treating rework Working to qualify new suppliers of raw material to lower costs over time EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering or Materials Science, 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering applications. Other technical degrees (Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.) may be considered with applicable work experience.
Salary Range: $85K - $95K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
