Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Job Description: The individual in this position will perform complex electrical and mechanical trade functions pertinent to the maintenance and repair of a variety of industrial manufacturing machines. A major focus of the position is troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Additional job-specific tasks involve supporting safety and ergonomic improvements in addition to continuous improvement/lean activities specific to 5S+1, visual factory, standard work, and total productive maintenance (TPM).
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience with industrial maintenance tasks including plumbing, welding, and electrical troubleshooting. A technical degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary. Must be capable of performing standard wiring operations to provide power source to equipment. The job will require the ability to use a variety of electrical measuring instruments such as a voltmeter, ohm-meter, and amp meter and various other checking and measuring devices. Qualified candidates will work from verbal instructions, blueprints, and machine manuals. As required, must be able to operate commonly used machine shop equipment and hand tools to repair and fabricate new parts. Need to possess good physical dexterity and have the ability to perform manual tasks and body movements including climbing, lifting, reaching, stooping, and bending. Will be required to work around chemicals after sufficient training and supply own hand tools.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
