Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Stamping Teams operate assigned automated stamping machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Our Kauffman Road plant in Landisville, PA is currently recruiting for a Stamping Die Setter/Operator. This position will move within a team setting to keep stamping presses running. Performance of quality checks are required to return quality product. The position will also set up auxiliary equipment and set up dies in a stamping press, having performed die work necessary to produce a quality part.
Experience with machine set up
Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure tooling/product for conformance Inspection equipment includes: comparator, micrometer, dial caliper and gages
Ability to read blueprints
Frequent standing is required on the job
Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 50 lbs.

Ability to work overtime or extended shifts as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
